In the Snapper Room the children are 3 1/2 years to 4 1/2 years old. The ratio of child to teacher is 1 :10. When all children are 4 the ratio goes up to 1 :12.

We work on perfecting self-help skills and introduction to number and letter recognition. We have lots of exposure to books, small and large muscle activities, and music!

Our daily schedule consists of:

6:00 to 8:15 Arrival / Free Choice
8:15 to 8:30 Clean Up
8:30 to 9:00 Breakfast / Bathroom
9:00 to 9:15 Calendar / Group Time
9:15 to 10:00 Art / Small Muscle Activities
10:00 to 10:15 Clean Up / Bathroom
10:15 to 11:15 Outside Play / Large Muscle
11:15 to 11:30 Bathroom / Songs at Table
11:30 to 12:00 Lunch
12:00 to 3:00 Nap / Quiet Activities
3:00 to 3:30 Snack / Bathroom
3:30 to 4:30 Outside Play / Large Muscle
4:30 to 6:00 Free Choice / Departure
